Bromsgrove Tai Chi
Bromsgrove Tai Chi Class
Monday at 7.00pm All levels
St Andrew’s Church, Lyttleton Avenue, Charford, Bromsgrove B60 3JP
Bromsgrove is a lovely semi-rural town on the outskirts of Birmingham. It is famous for salt making and the Cloth trade among other things. Bromsgrove was home for the famous Bromsgrove Guild of Applied Arts, a company of craftsmen who produced many fine works of sculpture and now it is becoming famous for the art of tai chi.
Our association, Kaiming, teaches all aspects of tai chi from gentle exercises to stress management. Martial aspects are covered too. Our mission statement is: “Tai Chi is a self-defence for life”.
We are proud to be the only traditional club in this area.
Tai chi is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. You can adapt it to suit your ability.
In a relaxed, fun, and informal setting, we start with some gentle warm up exercises, before moving on to explore different facets of the tai chi form such as balance, posture alignment, breathing and martial aspects. We end the session with some relaxing breath exercises called Qigong. The hour-long session provides a gentle all round workout for mind, body, and spirit.
So why not come along and give this fascinating art a try? The health benefits are very rewarding.
We are a small friendly group and you are most welcome to join us. The classes are held every Monday evening, 7.00 - 8.00 p.m. at:
